Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks in Raspberry - Review & Swatches

Hello Lovelies!!

Today I am reviewing a  HOTTIE from Bobbi Brown, the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks in Raspberry.its a 2 in 1 product .
After reading people RAVE and RAVE and only RAVE about this product, I finally made my mind to get hold of it.

so lets begin with Review...

Shades Available :

I was all confused and perplexed with which shade to pick and go with. I mean all the shades of the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks are beyond GORGEOUS.It comes in 10 shades, you would get a shade from all colors & i'd picked in Raspberry. Its a gorgeous deep mauvy pink, but it looks super bright on my cheeks and lips, i use it on daily basis to add some pop .
It is the kind of color which shall suit almost all skintones and types.

Swatches:

Packaging :
Previously Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks used to come into this glass pots, and now it retails in a compact case, which looks like this.
It has a mirror too unlike the previous one.

My Experience:

The pigmentation of the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks in Raspberry is superb, it does not look like a lip tint or doesn’t have a sheer finish, it has a strict and intense pigmentation. One swipe can easily cover up pigmented lips and even on the cheeks you just need a single dab.

Its texture is super creamy and smooth, it glides over the lips like magic. whether applied with Brush or finger. I know it’s unhygienic and all that jazz but chill it, I am the solo user for this product anyways. For my cheeks to I use my fingers to dab the product onto my cheeks or else I use my regular blush brush to achieve the desired results.
It blends easily and also has a mild fragrance, which is not that tough on the sensitive noses.

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks in Raspberry has a semi matte finish,
Even the oily skinned ladies need not fright away from this product since it is cream product. The staying power of this product is amazing, on my lips it survives for about 4-5 hours even with meals and drinks. It does fade after a certain time but then it doesn’t go off completely, it fades gracefully, both on the lips and cheeks.
It doesn’t settle into the fine lines of the lips neither does it melt away.
It is superbly hydrating and moisturizing. My lips do not feel dehydrated or moisture ridden with its use. When applied on the cheeks, it gives soft dewy color to my cheeks which looks uber natural and soft.

Let me summarize it for you all

What’s to LOVE  :

• Packaging. Compact, also has a mirror
• Pigmentation
• Staying power
• Hydrating properties
• Multi purpose
• Shade range
• Finish
• Texture

What’s to HATE :

• Nothing only i wish it had a little brush

Final Verdict :
Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks in Raspberry is a great multipurpose product. Atleast one from this range is worth a try.

My Rating: 5/5

MAC MSF in Petticoat - Review & Swatches

Hey Beauties!

Today i'm gonna review another M.A.C beauty & this time its M.A.C skinfinish in Petticoat.
again this products is from M.A.C's limited edition Mineralize Skinfinishes  (:
wanna know more about this awesome product ?

MAC’s Limited Edition Mineralize Skinfinishes are probably one of their most coveted items, they are sold out in a matter of minutes!
‘Petticoat’ is one of those which was widely loved and sought after.
It is limited edition which means it probably will only come out once every few years but when something is that special, you will throw caution to the wind and just get it!

Packaging:

It comes in the usual MSF packaging .The mineralize products are dome shaped which means you get even more product than you would normally in a pot this size.
Although mineralize skinfinishes are expensive, it is very unlikely you would ever need to buy more than one so it is definitely worth getting.

Swatches:

My Experience:

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Petticoat is a raspberry sort of shade with a plum kind of shimmer.

The consistency of the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Petticoat is very smooth and it is easily blendable too. This is pretty shimmery but that is why I feel you do not need too much product.

Upon application, I liked the longevity of it. It stayed on for the whole day and gave my skin a beautiful glow. I really enjoy wearing this as an all in one blush/highlight.

Pro’s :

-Beautiful shade
-blends well
-very flattering on most skin tones

Con’s:

-Pricey( Again though, if something is just really good, you won’t hesitate to purchase it.)
-Some may not like the shimmer

My Rating:

Price:£21.50

MAC Mineralize Blush in Nuance - Review & Swatches

Hey Beauty Geeks!

Today i'm come up with a high end brand  MAC
its M.A.C Mineralize Blush in Nuance. its a super lush blush ,
its from M.A.C's limited edition mineralize blushes & luckily i grab it & now its all mine (:
wanna know more about it ?

As you are probably aware, MAC come out with collections regularly and sometimes, a product will stand out against all others like the MAC Mineralize Blush in Nuance.

It is a peach shade with gold shimmer. It is shimmery and, I love how it looks!

Swatch:

My Experience:

It gives a gorgeous sunkissed glow to the skin and it would be perfect to use in a hurry because as it is a shimmer, you would not need to apply a highlight on your cheekbones after this!
The pigmentation is good, it is not too bright and so you could wear it every day.  There are many other blushes out there similar in shade to this. It is smooth and easy to apply, not chalky at all so that is a definite advantage. With a medium skin tone this blush looks so beautiful!
The fact that it is buildable definitely makes it a product to buy! Most popular limited edition products are released every few years. This has been released twice and it probably will come out again at some point. MAC mineralize blushes retail at £19 which is quite expensive! However, if you find something as being a staple product, it is well worth it.

Pros:

-Beautiful shade
-Buildable
-Smooth, not chalky
-Beautiful fine shimmer

Cons :

-Limited Edition

My Rating:5/5

Price: £19

i'd grabbed  some other M.A.C goodies too
so keep in touch for reviews (:

How to Goodbye CAKEY Makeup - ( Tips )

Hi Beauties!

Today i'm gonna share with you some Beauty tips about  avoiding cakey makeup which i got by a great makeup guru & i thought why not to share it with other luvlies too
so here they are .....

As You know we’ve all at one time or another applied too much foundation or concealer and ended up with what I like to call “Cakey Face”.  This is a common dilemma when it comes to makeup, so here’s few easy steps in how to get more natural looking skin!

1.   Apply a face primer

This step helps prime your skin just as paint primer preps your walls before applying paint:  it smooths out the surface filling in pores and making the surface smoother for the foundation.

2.  Don’t apply too much foundation

Now I realize that if you want full coverage or have many blemishes you’d like to cover, the first thing you think is to apply a fair amount of foundation.  This will cover the blemishes BUT will also risk the chance of piling up and looking very mask like.  The better option is to apply a thin layer just to even out your overall skin, then go over with concealer on just the blemished areas.  sponge is better option to apply  foundation because it applies a thin layer and makes it easier to melt the foundation into the skin.  It is best used damp as the wet sponge thins the foundation slightly.

3.   Apply powder only to oily areas

This is the key step!  ONLY apply powder to the areas on your face that tend to get oily- usually the “T zone”.   If you have dry skin, you may even be able to skip powder altogether.  The trick is to also apply powder in a thin layer- I find the best way to do this is to use a thin, flat sponge.

4.   Mist setting spray

This step is optional- I just do this step if my skin looks a bit dry after applying powder.  My absolutely favorite product of all time is MAC’s Fix Plus spray- simply mist it all over your face after your makeup is done.  It will give a subtle glow to the skin and help “melt” the powder into your foundation.   If your skin is oily, I would skip this step as it can make it look more oily at the end of the day…

ALWAYS remember to apply makeup in thin layers at a time- you can always add more, but it’s very difficult to take away.   I really hope this helps you all in your quest of getting flawless looking skin!

Stay Blessed!
much love

OLAY Natural White(Healthy fairness face wash) - Review

What does the product claim:

"Olay Natural White Face wash effectively cleans your skin & takes you closer to fairer healthy glowing skin.
1-Produces rich foam to help clear your impurities.
2-its rich cleansing formula takes you closer to fairer looking skin."

Usage Guidance:
Use morning and evening .Apply to wet face and gently massage with Finger tips, wash off with warm water.

My Experience :

I have tried a lot of facial washes , this time I was looking for a new product and I came across Olay Natural White (Healthy Fairness Cleansing) Face Wash. I bought it and started using it…..what I noticed about the Olay Natural white Face Wash is the Smell and the creamy soft feel (while applying on face). It smells really nice.
I had been using it since last month and I have noticed that there has been change in the appearance of my skin. My skin looks good but as i've combination skin it breakouts my dry areas but I can say there’s a little improvement in my skin tone.

-It has pretty balanced consistency. It is neither too thick nor too runny (i would say it creamy thick) and just perfect. It can be easily squeezed off the Tube .
-You only need small quantity to cover your face and neck. I take pea sized amount of the product and it is enough for my face.

BUT one thing isn't present in it as per OLAY's claim , it doesn't leathers as like any other creamy texture face-wash, while massaging you feel it more like a cleanser , but it works well.

Overall verdict:
This is really one of the best face wash that I have ever tried .

My Rating:3.5/5

Price( 100g ): 400-450 Pkr
