OLAY Natural White Day Cream - Review

Today i'm gonna share with you another review from my OLAY daily skin care  collection/set & this time its OLAY natural white day cream.

so lets start with product

I’m not too crazy about the whitening thing but hey, it’s Olay, so what do I have to lose? The Olay Natural White cream is meant to address hyper pigmentation of the skin while keeping it moisturized. Since I have heard a lot about Olay products, I figured I might as well try it. 

Packaging & Texture:

The jar itself is very classy with a translucent base .Could be easily carried in handbag.

What Olay claims about it? 

 Olay Natural White Nourish the skin with nutrients for healthy-looking natural fairness that glows. Its formula with triple nutrient system – Vitamin B3, pro-B5 & E nourishes the skin to reduce the appearance of dark spots and dullness for a healthy-looking natural fairness that glows

1.   Its SPF 24 protection effectively helps protect the skin against external damage from the sun*

2.   Its nutrients rich formula help replenishes your skin’s natural moisture level

My Experience:

The cream soothes out well when applied and doesn’t clump at all.

It’s light and silky with a mild soothing fragrance, which is very pleasant. What I like the most about the cream is that it leaves the skin really soft and smooth.

As for the whitening effect, I did notice a minor improvement in my skin tone and texture after 2 weeks, I doesn’t contain bleaching agent, Another plus point is the SPF-24 content & a very little amount is required. Only a pea size amount is enough.

Do I recommend it? For people with oily skin l, you’re better off using another product if you have huge issues with oiliness. Olay Natural White Cream is perfect for people with normal to dry skin and want a product that will moisturize, improve skin tone and fight hyper pigmentation.

The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Dome(s) Review - swatches

Its my first review from TBS (Lily Cole LE's) haul,

i was on hunt of this collection & love it as its Cruelty Free Makeup Collection.

so  now as i own this collection so gonna share with you all one by one :)

so lets start with this product & know how's my experience with it....

The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Dome 20 Pinch Me Pink , 21 crazy for coral 

+Pinch Me Pink is a nice soft pink..with no brown or plum or any undertone..

just a true pretty pink ! 

+The other shade Crazy for Coral is for my sis &a I feel its too light for our(asian)

 skin tones and does not show up much.. you can see in swatches .

SWATCHES:

natural+flash light - less+more blended

How to use: 

Dab onto lips or cheeks straight from the dome. 
Blend using clean fingertips. Layer to build up colour.

My Experience:

To start with, its a super cute dome ! Does'nt looking at this makes

 you feel like you want it..?

It is creamy and glossy in texture spreads gel like and gives a sheen..

I use my fingers to use it on the cheeks..as I don't want the whole thing to

 touch my face..use it on lips directly..

when I blended it seemed to vanish..but after 15-20 minutes..it gave the
 most beautiful pink flush ever

I got the logic that it settles soon to a MATTE finish and the color shows up
 later so you need to give it some time..

LOVE:

1. A multi purpose cheek and lip product.

2. Gives the most awesome pink flush on the cheeks and a soft pink stain.

3. Travel friendly.

4. Super duper cute packaging.

CONS:

1. Expensive.

2. Need to go about 4-5 times on the cheek.

3. Stays for 3-4 hours after which it fades off.

Luscious Cosmetics the TWILIGHT SAGA kit - Review & swatches

Today i'm comeup with another Luscious beauty & this time its an eyeshadow kit 

"the TWILIGHT saga" ,

so lets start viewing & reviewing (:

Packaging:

It comes in a beautiful pink purse which is handy & cute , have a mirror inside,

kit itself has a sturdy , glossy beautiful casing , & after opening the kit you can see 8 beautiful shimmery eyeshadows & a mirror inside the kit so one can easily use this kit while travel etc, the glosses & face shimmer treys are placed on both sides & come out with slight pulling, i love the way it comes in (:

Colors : 

on the back side of kit's box names of colors (eyeshadows, lip glosses & face shimmer ) are mentioned,

which are obviously inspired by blockbuster movie the Twilight saga  !

My Experience:

i like this kit , as other Luscious products , 

its performance is good , colors are super  pigmented , stays on for a long time(on me 8 hour without any primer without smudging) , tiny amount is enough to cover whole lid & they don't smudge too , 

but there is a problem and  its fall out of shadows inside the kit , 

you can see in the pic where swatches are placed the ting dots around shadow treys they are actually shadows :(

but when they are on eyelids you won't face  any kinda prob like fallout's (:

now come to face shimmer its a gorgeous nude pink face shimmer , very sheer (you can see in swatches )

but it buildable ,

come to lip glosses 

they are four in number & really very beautiful in colors & staying power is good too 

GLOW:its a shimmery kinda peach color ,

EMILY:its a gorgeous red color & very beautiful when applied, luv it .

FATAL; its nude , very sheer color just gives a hint of glow to your lips ,

BITTEN:its a beautiful coral shade .

Garnier Essentials Makeup Remover Milk is my secondary makeup remover,

Garnier Essentials Makeup Remover Milk is a thick, creamy makeup remover. It is one of those makeup removers which can easily help you get rid of the makeup whilst cleaning up your skin too.

It doesn’t have a strong scent which will affect the sensitive noses. It has a very subtle and rosy scent.

The texture of the remover is thick and rich creamy, I usually apply it onto my face and massage in it, and wipe it off with a cotton dab.

I use this too get off the whole day face slap. It removes my lipstick, mascara, kohl, base makeup and everything that needs to be off my face before going to bed with equal grace and efficiency.

Not just this it also makes my skin feel clean and supple and not dry and stretchy which is a trait of a lot of makeup removers usually.

It gets off the waterproof mascara and kohl easily too, without stinging the eye.

Bobbi Brown is amongest one of the brands which are created by perfectionist makeup experts , who made statement in their field by their work .

so what else then perfection you'll expect  from Bobbi Brown's products ...????

 This is my first take with her makeup range

My Experience:

Bobbi Brown Blush In Apricot is a love at first sight!!!!

The texture of the product is extremely soft and it has a complete matte finish which accentuates the beauty of the shade even more.

It just doesn't look crazy pigmented in the pan but it is even more fantastic when actually applied, hence a little goes a long long way. You just need to swipe it on your cheeks and voila you are ready to take on the world!

It is such a bright and gorgeous hue of peach-pink-apricot!! See the swatches above!! 

I cannot really define the shade to you all, I mean I am kind of overwhelmed and over joyed to have it.

The staying power of this product in incredibly amazing! It stays for a whole freaking day! I mean say for a whole 8 hours.color clings to your skin and never let go!! :D

 I have already found out ways to wear it with different looks and trust me it never ever goes wrong.

Even with this bright look which it exhibits, Bobbi Brown Blush In Apricot one such shade which will look equally gorgeous on all skin tones be it light or warm!

Even with the matte finish it has, this product never dries up my skin or doesn’t go patchy and blotchy! Neither did it cause any break outs or irritations.

Hope you all are doing great?today I am reviewing Olay Natural White Healthy Fairness Night Cream today.

Ingredients & Texture:

Olay Natural White Cream contains no chemical bleaches – its purely natural ingredients make your skin look milky, translucent white in just 4 weeks. It is ideal to cover up dark spots, freckles and sun spots and also acts as a base for make-up.
Use Natural White Fluid for oily / combination skin.

 The texture of the Olay Natural White Healthy Fairness Day Cream is thick and creamy as it looks in the pictures .

Packaging:

Let’s start from square one; the packaging of the Olay Natural White Healthy Fairness Night Cream is extremely simple and easy, a Beautiful sturdy jar , with an extra lid inside to save product from harmful bacteria's , so packaging is hygienic I prefer my regular moisturizers in the tub/jar form, since they make me feel casual and at ease.

My Experience :

Basically this is one of those initial creams which I started using on regular basis.

it has a very soothing floral sweet yet refreshing scent. The cream smells extremely delightful (I am seriously bad at describing scents and colors) :P . 

The next thing which counts as the USP of this cream which I completely love is the “paraben free” ingredient list.  It has vitamin E. 

However on application the cream goes easy and becomes emollient. It absorbs into the skin provided you massage it well, if you don’t it may leave a light white film on the skin(so as their day cream).

It makes the skin feel soft and supple and hydrated .It does make the skin feel good and refreshed, but the “fairness” factor is not that true. I mean it does even out the skin but nothing more than that.

I have a combination skin so this works just more than fine for me,it doesn’t even make my skin feel greasy or oily..  I feel a bit stretch in my skin around the mouth and around the nose after washing my face. ( I hope you are getting what I mean). It didn’t cause any irritation or break outs on my face, even it helps to reduce this factor of my skin & sooth'em.

In a Nutshell it does a tad better job and stays up to its claims better than their day cream from this range.

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks in Raspberry - Review & Swatches

Today I am reviewing a  HOTTIE from Bobbi Brown, the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks in Raspberry.its a 2 in 1 product .

After reading people RAVE and RAVE and only RAVE about this product, I finally made my mind to get hold of it.

so lets begin with Review...

Shades Available :

I was all confused and perplexed with which shade to pick and go with. I mean all the shades of the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks are beyond GORGEOUS.It comes in 10 shades, you would get a shade from all colors & i'd picked in Raspberry.Its a gorgeous deep mauvy pink, but it looks super bright on my cheeks and lips, i use it on daily basis to add some pop .

It is the kind of color which shall suit almost all skintones and types.

Previously Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks used to come into this glass pots, and now it retails in a compact case, which looks like this.

It has a mirror too unlike the previous one.

My Experience:

The pigmentation of the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks in Raspberry is superb, it does not look like a lip tint or doesn’t have a sheer finish, it has a strict and intense pigmentation. One swipe can easily cover up pigmented lips and even on the cheeks you just need a single dab.

Its texture is super creamy and smooth, it glides over the lips like magic. whether applied with Brush or finger. I know it’s unhygienic and all that jazz but chill it, I am the solo user for this product anyways. For my cheeks to I use my fingers to dab the product onto my cheeks or else I use my regular blush brush to achieve the desired results.
It blends easily and also has a mild fragrance, which is not that tough on the sensitive noses.

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips And Cheeks in Raspberry has a semi matte finish,

Even the oily skinned ladies need not fright away from this product since it is cream product. The staying power of this product is amazing, on my lips it survives for about 4-5 hours even with meals and drinks. It does fade after a certain time but then it doesn’t go off completely, it fades gracefully, both on the lips and cheeks.

It doesn’t settle into the fine lines of the lips neither does it melt away.
It is superbly hydrating and moisturizing. My lips do not feel dehydrated or moisture ridden with its use. When applied on the cheeks, it gives soft dewy color to my cheeks which looks uber natural and soft.
